I really do not like self promotion and I am on a religious level suspicious of those who do. It's only for that reason that I do not spend time looking for agents, publishers and all the paraphernalia of publicizing books.

On one level you might well argue that I am not reaching a wider audience and that's true but I am not sure I would enjoy the price!

Even if I fear that most people do not (for a variety of reasons not all bad), I still do care but the issue is what is the best way of showing it!

JRabbi Jeremy Rosenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12723608669485173271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6141014.post-15724962524129419242013-11-19T17:20:52.262-05:002013-11-19T17:20:52.262-05:00This is an excellent piece but the ending "Bu...This is an excellent piece but the ending "But I feel that most of my coreligionists don’t seem to care" seems too negative. Is it possible that your feeling of isolation is self-imposed? Are you making full use of your talents? How many others have experienced the richness of different Jewish streams plus encounters with the modern world? Where are you going now? What do you hope to achieve with the website? I have read your recent book, it is quite brilliant, it is the type of book that is very needed by many people, the type of book that with some tweaking from its current state could be a best seller, discussed in all corners. But this maybe not what you want or would be prepared for. I apologize if this comment seems too impertinent; it is offered with the best intent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6141014.post-73763237690013084732013-11-17T17:06:50.824-05:002013-11-17T17:06:50.824-05:00Thank you Leila.

There as I understand it (not Artscroll's translation) it says, "How long will you try to walk through two doors?" (walking through two different doors simultaneously).

"Having your cake and eating it" is less painful than sitting on the fence!!!!Rabbi Jeremy Rosenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12723608669485173271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6141014.post-9923024689583482462013-11-15T04:32:50.134-05:002013-11-15T04:32:50.134-05:00A wonderful piece, Dear Jeremy.
