So I agree with your conclusion.Rabbi Jeremy Rosenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12723608669485173271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6141014.post-87494507023402686212013-12-13T15:23:25.341-05:002013-12-13T15:23:25.341-05:00I can't speak for the Jewish community in gene...I can't speak for the Jewish community in general, but after Mandela's death, I did see a lot of anti-Mandela posts from different Jewish groups on Facebook....with a lot of Jewish support.<br />They take a lot of his comments out of context, if they're not fabricated altogether.<br />I will admit people like Gaddafi are a strange bedfellows; especially with his treatment of Berbers (not quite apartheid necessarily, but still quite oppressive). However, he did support the liberation movements, so it made sense for Mandela to be friends with him. <br />Even if Mandela was an anti-Zionist and/or anti-Semite, he still helped pave the way for a peaceful revolution which could have been like, well, other revolutions.
